Seattle Pride
At Auxiliary, we collaborated with Seattle Pride to develop the brand identity for Seattle's 2024 Pride Week events, marking the 50th anniversary of Pride in the city. To commemorate this milestone, we aimed to honor Seattle’s first Pride celebration in 1974 by blending the legacy of the past 50 years with the promise of the next. Inspired by the era of the first Pride, we incorporated 1970s-style imagery to capture the spirit of that time and pay tribute to its significance in Queer history.
Our concept centered around the tagline “Now!” to spotlight both the history of Pride and the activism that paved the way for today—while emphasizing the ongoing fight for equality within the Queer community. In my role, I designed the Pride in the Park poster and created key visuals that shaped the overall branding. I also developed Canva templates for the Seattle Pride team to streamline their social media marketing for the event.
